How to make cinnamon rolls at home

Freshly prepared rolls are very delicious taste. these are served at snack time. it is very simple to prepare with few ingredients. cinnamon is the main ingredient that adds flavor to the recipe.


  • maida / plain flour- 2 cups
  • sugar- 2 cups
  • milk- 1/2 cup
  • brown sugar- 1/4 cup
  • oil- 2 spoons
  • cinnamon power- 11/2 spoon
  • yeast- 1 spoon
  • butter- 1/4 spoon


Step 1: Take maida flour in a bowl, add butter, sugar and yeast.

Step 2: Mix it well with  the help of warm milk and make into smooth dough.

Step 3: Add 2-4 spoons of water to dough and keep kneading it for 5min.

Step 4: Sprinkle plain flour on the surface and place the wet dough on it.

Step 5: Flatten dough evenly on all sides by adding some more flour.

Step 6: Flatten dough with 1/2cm thickness.

Step 7: Mix brown sugar powder and cinnamon powder and sprinkle all oven the surface.

Step 8: Roll the cinnamon spread flatten dough and cut into small pieces.

Step 9: After some time the roll pieces become puffy.

Step 10: Preheat oven at 180 degrees centigrade and bake the cinnamon rolls for 15-20min till it gets brown colour.

Step 11: Serve in a plate and sprinkle cream or chocolate sauce if u need.
