How to make capsicum tandoori at home

Bell peppers are spicy vegetables of different colours. These are commonly known as capsicum, which are used in cooking recipes, salads and snack items. Now let us see the procedure of making starter with this bell pepper.


  • Capsicum( medium size)- 3
  • Oil- ¼ cup
  • Chopped ginger and garlic- 2 spoons
  • Chopped onions- ½ cup
  • Chopped green chili- 3 spoons
  • Chaat masala- 1 spoon
  • Raisins- 1 spoon
  • Grated carrot- ½ cup
  • Cashew nuts chopped- ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Chilli powder- ½ spoon
  • Grated paneer- 2cups
  • Boiled and smashed potato- ½ cup


Step 1: Cut the capsicum vertically and remove the seeds.

Step 2: Add spoon of oil, salt rub them and keep aside.

Step 3: Heat oil in a pan, add chopped ginger and garlic and sauté it for 2min.

Step 4: Add chopped onion, green chilies and grated carrot and sauté it for 2-5min.

Step 5: Add chilli powder, potato smash, chaat masala, raisins and grated paneer and mix it well.

Step 6: Cook the whole mixture for 3min at low flame.

Step 7: Fill the stuff in vertically cutted capsicum and bake in a preheated oven for 15min.

Step 8: After some time capsicum gets soften then off the flame.

Step 9: Serve the hot capsicum tandoori with tomato sauce.
