Cabbage moong dal salad
Salads are made with raw vegetables which are very healthy and refreshing too. These are very tasty and considered as a meal. Salads are easy to prepare in different flavours like sweet, bitter and sour. Cabbage moong dhal salad has sour taste made with few ingredients. Let us learn the procedure of this cabbage moong dhal salad.
- Chopped cabbage- 2cups
- Soaked moong dhal / chaana dhal – ½ cup
- Chopped cucumber- ½ cup
- Chopped carrot- ½ cup
- Chopped parsley leaves- ¼ cup
- Chopped mint leaves- ¼ cup
- Chopped French beans- ¼ cup
- Chopped tomato- 1 cup
- Olive oil- 1 spoon
- Vinegar- 1 spoon
- Lemon juice- 3 spoon
- Salt to taste
- Sugar – 1 spoon
- Crushed black pepper- ½ spoon
- Chopped ginger and garlic- 1 spoon
Step 1: Soak moong dhal for 3hrs in warm water.
Step 2: Sieve water from moong dhal and take in a bowl.
Step 3: Take a bowl, add chopped cabbage, chopped carrot, cucumber and soaked moon dhal.
Step 4: Add French beans, chopped tomato and stir it well.
Step 5: Add olive oil, salt and vinegar and stir it well.
Step 6: Add lemon juice, sugar, crushed black pepper, chopped ginger and garlic and stir it well.
Step 7: Heat pan and sauté it for 2-5min and off the flame.
Step 8: Serve in a bowl to eat.
