How to make raagi roti – Finger millet roti recipe

Presenting you one of the best and healthy rotis called “Raagi roti” or “Finger millet roti”. Raagi roti is a delicious recipe that is very popular across all India. Raagi flour is having rich proteins and calcium. Raagi roti is a perfect breakfast recipe for diabetic and diet. We prepared raagi roti by mixing wheat flour and raagi flour. Lets see how to prepare raagi roti at home.

Ingredients required for making raagi roti

  • Wheat flour – 250 grms
  • Raagi flour – 100 grms
  • Salt
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Procedure of making Raagi roti at home

  • Take a bowl and add 1 cup of wheat flour and ½ cup of raagi flour.
  • Add salt and 2tbsp of oil. Mix the flours by adding little amount of water and make a smooth dough.
  • Rest for 30 minutes. Make a small balls with wheat and raagi flour dough. Take a chapathi board and start making rotis with the dough. Follow the same with remaining dough.
  • Put a pan on the stove and apply oil to it. Now roast these Raagi rotis by turning both sides. If required brush some oil on the rotis while frying. Collect them into a serving plate.

Tasty and healthy finger millet or raagi roti is ready to eat.
