How to make stuffed rice rolls

Rice rolls stuffed with ingredients that differ from each other. This recipe is a unique snack item easy to prepare at home. It has delicious taste served with sauce. Let us see the procedure of making snack item.

Ingredients:

  • Rice- 2 cups
  • Parboiled rice- 1cup
  • Sesame seeds- 1 spoon
  • Asafoetida- 1/2 spoon
  • Vegetable oil- 2 spoons

For filling the roll:

  • Grated coconut- 2 spoons
  • Chopped garlic- 1/2 spoon
  • Lemon juice-1 spoon
  • Sugar juice- 1 spoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves- 2 spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped cashew nuts- 2 spoons
  • Carrot slices- 1cup
  • Chopped ginger- 1 spoon
  • Chopped green chillies- 1 spoon

Procedure:

Step 1:Soak rice in water for 2-3hrs and drain them well without water.

Step 2: Grind them into fine paste.

Step 3: Add salt to the batter and keep aside for fermentation.

Step 4:Add sesame seeds , oil and asafoetida . mix it well without lumps.

Step 5:Apply oil on the plate, spread rice batter on plate evenly.

Step 6: Heat water in pressure cooker, place plate stand on water and cook it for 10-15min.

Step 7: Off the flame and keep aside till the temperature reduces, cut it into strips.

Step 8: Take bowl, add paneer, carrot slices, coconut, green chillies, garlic, ginger, salt,sugar, lemon juice, cashew nuts and coriander leaves.

Step 9: Mix it well and place on the strips and rolls the stuffed strips.

Step 10: Serve with any type of sauce.
