Saffron almond milk is most favourite and traditional drink. Saffron almond milk is commonly known as almond milk. It has delicious taste with cardamom flavour. It contains fibre that is good for digestion, nutrients that are good for health and energy. It has great cholesterol lowering effect. Almond milk doesn’t consist of saturated fat so it makes very healthy drink. Let us see the ingredients and procedure of making saffron almond milk.

Ingredients:

  • Milk- 500ml
  • Almonds- ¼ cup
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Saffron- ½ spoon
  • Cardamom powder- ½ spoon
  • Pistachio- ¼ spoon
  • Pistachio thin slices- 2 spoons

Procedure:

Step 1: Soak almonds and pistachio and peel off the skin.

Step 2: Grind almonds and pistachio and make into fine paste.

Step 3: Boil milk at low flame for 10min.

Step 4: Add almonds paste to the milk and stir it well.

Step 5: Add sugar to the milk and stir it well till it dissolves.

Step 6: Sprinkle cardamom powder and saffron on milk.

Step 7: Store milk in refrigerator for 15-20min.

Step 8: Serve milk in glasses and garnish with pistachio slices.
