How to prepare garlic fish fillets

Garlic fish fillets, a spicy recipe with delicious taste. It is simple to prepare at home preferred as starter. Let us see how to make fish fillets.


  • Fish-500gms
  • Green chillies- long halves- 3
  • Paprika (chilli) powder- 1 spoon
  • Lemon juice- 2 spoons
  • Plain flour- 2 spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
  • Crushed black pepper- 1/2 spoon
  • Chopped ginger and garlic – 2 spoons
  • Onion slices- 5
  • Tomato slices- 5


Step 1: Add chopped ginger ,garlic, green chillies, lemon juice to mixy jar, grind them into fine paste by adding some water.

Step 2: Cut fish into ube shape, wash them with cool water and place fish pieces in a bowl.

Step 3: Add grinded mixture, black pepper, chilli powder, plain flour and salt.

Step 4: Stir the whole mixture till fish coated with the mixture.

Step 5: Keep fish pieces aside, heat half cup of oil in a pan.

Step 6: Fry spoon of garlic and ginger till they turn into golden brown color.

Step 7: Add fish cubes and cook them for 10-15min.

Step 8: After the fish gets completed boiled serve them in a plate.

Garnish fish fillets with onion slices, tomato slices.
