How to prepare buttermilk cake at home

Puffy and soft cake made with buttermilk. it has delicious taste with vanilla essence. It is so simple to prepare buttermilk creamy cake at home. Let us see the procedure of making this delicious recipe at home.

Ingredients:

  • Egg – 6
  • Buttermilk- 2 cups
  • Vanilla essence- 2 spoons
  • Sugar- 3 cups
  • Salt- 1/2 spoon
  • Unsalted butter- 1 cup
  • Baking powder- 1/2 spoon
  • Baking soda- 1 spoon
  • Cake flour- 4 cups
  • Vanilla bean- 1 inch
  • Dry nuts chopped- 1/2 cup
  • Grated coconut(roasted)- 1/4 cup

Preparation:

Step 1: For cream, add butter and sugar in a bowl and beat them well to become fluffy.

Step 2: Add vanilla bean paste and vanilla essence to the mixture.

Step 3: Mix cake flour, salt, baking powder and baking salt in a bowl, set aside.

Step 4: Make into soft batter using buttermilk, egg whites. beat the whole mixture slowly.

Step 5: Apply butter on wax paper and divide batter equally later place on a bake pan.

Step 6: Bake the cake for 15-20min at 350 degrees centigrade until the cake becomes puffy.

Step 7: Later take out the pan and set aside to reduce the temperature.

Step 8: Apply cream evenly on all sides for the cake.

Step 9: Load cake with dry nuts and roasted coconut.
