Rice flour papads / biyyam vadiyalu, a crispy papads simple to prepare within no time. There are different varieties of homemade papads that differ in taste. we can prepare these type of recipes using vegetables. Homemade papads are served along with dal, sambar and rasam. Now let us see the procedure of making the crispy item
- Rice flour- 2 glasses
- Water as needed
- Salt to taste
- Cumin seeds- 2 spoons
- Green chilli paste- 1/4 cup
Step 1: Soak rice in water overnight and make them into fine powder.
Step 2: Add water, salt, green chilli paste, cumin paste and mix all the ingredients well.
Step 3: Avoid lumps by stirring the recipe continuously for 5-10min.
Step 4: Spread plastic sheet, take spoon full of batter and pour on the sheet in circular shapes.
Step 5: Let them dry for 2 to 3 days in hot sun.
Step 6: After rice papad got completely dried store them in air tight container.
Step 7: Biyyam pindi vadiayalu / rice flour papads are ready for deep fry.
Step 8: Fry them and have it along with dal rice
Enjoy the taste of salty and spicy rice flour papads..
Note: Instead of rice you can also use urad dhal and follow the same process.
