We prepare desserts of different types using besan flour but this is special and popular recipe made with semolina and besan powder. Ghee and cardamom adds more taste to the dessert. Let us see the procedure of making hot dessert in special occasions.
- Semolina sooji- 1/2 cup
- Ghee- 3 spoons
- milk- 1 cup
- crushed cardamon powder- 1/2 spoon
- sugar- 1cup
- pistachio chopped- 2 spoons
- chopped almonds- 2 spoons
- besan / gram flour- 4 spoons
- kesar- 1/2 spoon
Step 1: Heat ghee in a pan, add semolina saute it well for 2min at low flame.
Step 2: Add gram flour and saute it for 3-4min continuously.
Step 3: Add saffron and stir it well. fry till the whole mixture turns into brown colour.
Step 4: Add milk slowly by stirring it well.
Step 5: Later, place a lid, cook at low flame for 2min.
Step 6:Add green cardamon powder, sugar and mix it well till sugar dissolves.
Step 7: Serve it on a plate, pour remaining ghee, and drop the chopped pistachio and almonds.
Step 8: Serve the sweet and hot dessert, atlast sprinkle kesar on the dessert.
