A delicious dessert served hot with pistachio and almonds as toppings. Apple fritters are very sweet with delicious taste and cardamom flavor. These are deep fried in vegetable oil which makes fritters more crispy. Let us see the preparation of making this recipe.
- Apples- 2
- Plain flour- 3 cups
- Yeast cell- 1/2 spoon
- Ghee- 1 spoon
- Oil to fry
- Sugar – 1 1/2 cups + 2 spoons
- Lemon juice- 1 spoon
- Cardamom powder- 1 spoon
- Water- 1 1/2 cup
- Pistachio slices- 1/4 cup
- Chopped almonds- 1 spoon
Step 1: Wash apples, peel the skin and cut into circular shape.
Step 2: Boil 1 cup of water add yeast cell, it starts fermenting.
Step 3: Later add plain flour, sugar and stir it well.
Step 4: Make the mix into smooth batter by adding some water.
Step 5: Keep batter aside for 30min for fermentation.
Step 6: Meanwhile, boil sugar and water of equal amounts by stirring it well.
Step 7: Add lemon juice, cardamom powder to bring flavor to the sugar syrup.
Step 8: Heat oil in a pan, dip apple slices in batter and drop in hot oil.
Step 9: Fry them till it gets brown color and serve in a plate.
Step 10: After it gets cool down, drop them in sugar syrup soak them for 2min.
Step 11: Now serve the tasty dessert in a plate.
