How to make veg fried rice – Vegetable fried rice recipe

Ingredients required for making vegetable fried rice

  • Ghee – 3 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves – 6 chopped
  • Onion – 1 chopped
  • Green peas – ½ cup
  • Chopped yellow capsicum – ½ cup
  • Chopped beans – ½ cup
  • Red capsicum (chopped) – ½ cup
  • Green capsicum (chopped) – ½ cup
  • Carrot (chopped) – ½ cup
  • Salt (required)
  • Boiled rice
  • Black pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce – 1 tbsp

Procedure of making vegetable fried rice at home

You can use as many vegetables as you can for cooking this vegetable fried rice. Adding cooked or boiled rice makes the vegetable fried rice ready. Lets see the procedure of making vegetable fried rice at home indetail.

  • Take a well bottom pan on the stove and give a medium flame. Add 3tbsp of ghee.
  • After it is hot add chopped garlic cloves, chopped onions, green peas, yellow capsicum, beans, red capsicum, green capsicum and carrot. Saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add required amount of salt to it and sauté for 2 minutes. Close the vessel with lid and cook the vegetables for 1 minute.
  • Add boiled or cooked rice and mix the rice along with vegetables. Now add black pepper powder and soy sauce. Mix it well. Check the salt consistency again after adding rice if required sprinkle little more. Close the lid and cook for 2 more minutes.
