Chilled mango lassi in hot summer:
Mango lassi, a thick and soft drink served chilled in summer with cardamom flavor and kesar( saffron)
- Freshly chopped mango pieces- 3 cups
- Fresh low fat yogurt- 1 cup
- Cream – 2 spoons
- Cardamom powder- 3/4 spoon
- Rose water- 2 spoons
- Saffron – pinch
- Honey- 4 spoons
- Chopped almonds and cashews- 2 spoons
Step 1: Peel mangoes and cut into small pieces.
Step 2: Using mixer, blend mango pieces and honey till smooth.
Step 3: Add yogurt, cream, cardamom powder, saffron, rose water. Blend again till it becomes soft.
Step 4: Serve mango lassi in glasses and add ice cubes
Step 5: Sprinkle chopped almonds and dry nuts before serving.

Mango mint lassi using sweet Indian spices:
Mango mint lassi, a delicious spicy drink made with different Indian sweet spices. Moreover it is a popular drink in various restaurants because of its flavor. Let us see the procedure of the recipe.
- Peeled and chopped mango- 1 cup
- Brown sugar- 3 spoons
- Chopped fresh mint- 2 spoons
- lime juice- 2 spoons
- fresh yogurt- 2spoons
- fresh mint leaves for garnish- 5-10
- Grounded star anise- 1 spoon
- Crushed cardamom- 1/2 spoon
Step 1: Peel skin of mango and cut into small pieces.
Step 2: Blend mango, brown sugar, chopped mint, star anise, crushed cardamom powder, lime juice and plain yogurt till it becomes smooth liquid.
Step 3: Add honey for more taste to the drink.
Step 4: Pour drink in glasses and store in refrigerator for 15-20min.
Step 5: Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves for more taste.
