How to make sprouts cutlet at home

Sprouts are the best source of vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. It contains fiber which helps to reduce fat in our body. Intake of sprouts daily makes our body active and healthy. Sprouts cutlet is a snack item made with sprouts generally we eat cutlet made with chickpea but this recipe made with ingredient that boost our body. Let us see procedure of making sprouts cutlet.

Ingredients:

  • Soaked black gram- ½ cup
  • Soaked green gram- ½ cup
  • White peas- ½ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder- pinch
  • Red chilli powder- ½ spoon
  • Oil
  • Rice flour- ½ cup
  • Chat masala- 1 spoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves- ½ cup
  •  Tomato slices – ¼ cup
  • Chopped ginger- ½ spoon
  • Onion slices- ½ cup

Procedure:

Step 1: Take a bowl, add soaked white peas, green gram, black gram, salt and mash them into paste.

Step 2: Add chilli powder, cumin seeds, ginger pieces, chat masala and stir it well by adding few spoons of water.

Step 3: Atlast add coriander leaves, mix it well and keep aside for 10-15min.

Step 4: Drop rice flour over the plain surface evenly.

Step 5: Make the sprouts mixture into small balls and coat in rice flour.

Step 6: Heat oil in a long bottomed vessel and fry the flour coated sprout balls.

Step 7: Fry the sprout balls till they turn into brown colour.

Step 8: Serve the cutlet in a plate and garnish with tomato and onion slice.

Taste the recipe with mint chutney or tomato sauce!!
