How to make pineapple kesari

A delicious dessert often prepared during functions at home. Pineapple is a citrus fruit with high amount of antioxidants is now used as main ingredient in the dessert. This dessert has wonderful taste with fresh fruit flavor. It is very simple to prepare along with cashew nuts and raisins as toppings.

Ingredients:

  • Semolina / rava – 2cups
  • Milk- 500ml
  • Ghee- 1cup
  • Water- 1/2 cup
  • Pineapple pieces- 2 cup
  • Cashew nuts- 1/4 cup
  • Raisins- 1/4 cup
  • kesar- 1spoon
  • Cardamom powder-1 spoon

Procedure:

Step 1: Heat ghee in a pan, add semolina / rava fry it till it turns into brown colour.

Step 2: Add condensed milk to fried semolina and stir it well.

Step 3: Stir it well without any lumps and add sugar to it.

Step 4: Leave it for 5min and off the flame.

Step 5: Add cardamom powder to the sweet and mix it well.

Step 6: Take a bowl, add some water and pineapple pieces boil pineapple pieces for 15min.

Step 7:Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew nuts, raisins fry them till they turn into brown colour.

Step 8:Add boiled pineapple pieces and stir it well.

Step 9: Add dry nuts and pineapple pieces to the dessert.

Step 10: Sprinkle kesar on sweet and serve it in a bowl.
