How to make ginger biscuits at home

Ginger biscuits are the special recipe especially made for kids. These are very spicy and smooth with cardamom flavor. Comparatively they have unique taste specially preferred by all. Let us see the ingredients used to make this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Plain flour- 2cups
  • Nutmeg powder- 1/2 pinch
  • Cloves- 5
  • Sugar powder-  2spoons
  • Golden syrup- 3spoons
  • Butter- 1/4cup
  • Brown sugar- 3/4cup
  • Cardamom powder- 4
  • Baking soda- pinch
  • Milk- 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder- 3/4 spoon
  • Ginger powder- 1 1/2 spoon

Preparation:

Step 1: Heat butter in a long bottomed kadai, add golden syrup and stir it well.

Step 2: Add brown sugar and mix it well without lumps.

Step 3: Add baking powder, baking soda and plain flour. stir the whole mixture well.

Step 4: Add ginger powder, cloves powder, nutmeg powder and cardamom powder. stir it well without any lumps.

Step 5: Add milk to the mixture and make into smooth dough.

Step 6: Make dough into round balls of equal parts.

Step 7: Apply ghee on a plate and place dough balls on the plate and press each ball evenly on all the sides.

Step 8: Preheat oven for 5min and keep the ginger biscuits in oven. bake them for 10-15min.

Step 9: Off the oven and place them out till it gets cool down.

Step 10: Enjoy the taste of delicious ginger biscuits.
