How to make different snacks with potato, egg and fish in monsoon season

Snacks are prepared with the combination of different ingredients. Some snacks are very crispy and some are very soft to eat but most of the people choose to eat crispy items. Here are few crispy snack recipes that are attached below along with procedure. Crunchy pakoras are of different types such as aloo pakora, egg pakora and fish pakora. Each of the recipe differ in taste and texture. Let us see the procedure of making the mouth watering snack items.

Aloo pakora

Aloo pakora

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes- 5
  • Besan flour- 2 cups
  • Oil – 4 cups
  • Mango powder- 1 spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder-  2 spoons
  • Water- 1 cup

Procedure:

Step 1: Wash potatoes and cut into thin slices.

Step 2: Add besan flour and water in a bowl. mix it well and make into thin batter.

Step 3: Add red chilli powder, mango powder and mix it well.

Step 4: Heat oil in kadai, dip potato slice in batter and drop in hot oil.

Step 5: Fry it well till it turns into brown color.

Step 6: Enjoy the taste of aloo pakora with tomato sauce.

Egg pakora

Egg pakora

Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs- 4-5
  • Dry mango powder- 1 1/2 spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder- pinch
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Bengal gram flour- 1 cup
  • Red chilli powder- 1 spoon
  • Water- as required

Procedure:

Step 1: Cut boiled eggs into 2 halves, sprinkle red chilli powder and dry mango powder.

Step 2: Mix gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, pepper and water. mix all the ingredients well and make into thick batter.

Step 3: Dip egg pieces in batter and drop in hot oil.

Step 4: Fry them well till it turns into golden brown color.

Step 5: Serve the hot snack item with chilli sauce or tomato chutney.

Crispy fish pakora

Crispy fish pakora

Ingredients:

  • Fish pieces- 250gms
  • Carom seeds- pinch
  • Green Chilli – 1 spoon paste
  • Garlic paste- 1 spoon paste
  • Corn flour- 2 spoon
  • Bread crumbs- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves- 2 spoons
  • Red chilli powder- 1/2 spoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Sesame seeds- 1 spoon

Procedure:

Step 1: Add garlic paste, corn flour, chopped coriander leaves, red chilli powder, salt, sesame seeds, green chillies and carom seeds in a bowl, mix all the ingredients well.

Step 2: Add fish pieces and spoon oil to the mixture, stir it well.

Step 3: Heat oil in kadai till it smokes.

Step 4: Drop fish pieces in oil and fry them well till it changes color.

Step 5: Serve the fried fish pakora in a plate and enjoy the taste of fish pakora.
