How to make chilled cucumber lassi

In hot summer everyone love to drink the chilled beverages which makes our body cool, Choosing drinks like lassi, lemon juice, melon juices etc are more healthy compared to other types. Whereas cucumber lassi is a healthy and refreshing drink having ginger and coriander flavors. Cucumber contains high water content which helps our body to get rid of dehydration. Taste of cucumber lassi is very spicy because of green chillies. It is simple to make within no time. Let us see the procedure of the chilled drink.

Ingredients:

  • Peeled cucumber- 2 medium
  • Green chilies- 2
  • Sugar- 1/4 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Grated ginger- 1 spoon
  • Chopped coriander leaves- 3 spoons
  • Yogurt- 2 cups
  • Asafoetida- pinch

Procedure:

Step 1: Combine cucumber, grated ginger, chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chillies in a processor and blend them into smooth paste.

Step 2: Add sugar, asafoetida, salt and blend again.

Step 3: Add yogurt , cup of water and blend again for 2min.

Step 4: For chilled drink, add ice cubes and stir it well.

Step 5: Now pour drink in glasses and garnish with mint leaves for refreshing flavor.
