How to make banana and berry smoothie at home

Banana and berry smoothie is a delicious chilled drink served in hot summer. Banana is a high calorie nutritional fruit and raspberries is a commercial fruit from rose family. Pepita seeds are good source of proteins and minerals. Chilled beverage used to make the delicious drink are  good for health. Let us see the procedure of making the chilled drink.


  • Low fat milk- 350ml
  • Natural yogurt- 250ml
  • Chopped banana- 1 large
  • Oat bran- 2 spoons
  • Honey – 2 spoons
  • Almonds- 30gms
  • Pepitas / pumpkin seeds- 25gms
  • Raspberries- 150gms


Step 1: Take a ripped banana and peel skin of it, cut into small pieces.

Step 2: Clean raspberries and roughly chop them into small pieces.

Step 3: Using processor, blendmilk, yogurt, banana and raspberries until smooth.

Step 4: Add oat bran, honey and blend again until it was well combined.

Step 5: Store in refrigerator for 15-20min or add ice cubes to the drink before serving.

Step 6: Finely chop almonds and pumpkin seeds, Sprinkle on the drink.

Step 7: Serve the chilled banana and berry smoothie in hot summer.
