How to make spinach phool makhana

Spinach phool makhana, a delicious recipe combined with cashew nuts. Spinach is blanched into smooth paste. This recipe is easy to prepare at home in a short time. let us see the procedure of making spinach phool makhana at home.

Ingredients:

  • Spinach- 2cups
  • Cashew nuts- 3/4 cup
  • Tomato slices- 3/4 cup
  • Butter- 1 spoon
  • Ginger and garlic paste- 1 spoon
  • Cumin powder- 1/2 spoon
  • Coriander powder- 1/2 spoon
  • Chilli powder- 3/4 spoon
  • Oil
  • Nut meg powder- pinch
  • Chopped green chilli- 2 spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped onions- 1/2 cup
  • Lotus seeds- 30gms
  • Milk cream- 2 spoons

Procedure:

Step 1: Cut spinach into small pieces and wash with clean water. later blanch them.

Step 2: Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped onion and green chillies. saute it well.

Step 3: Add blanched spinach leaves stir it well.

Step 4: Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, coriander and cumin powder. cook the recipe at low flame for 2-5min.

Step 5: Add chilli powder, salt. stir it well and make into fine paste.

Step 6: Add roasted cashew nuts, lotus seeds and turmeric powder. stir it well and cook the recipe for 5min at low flame.

Step 7: Add milk creams and off the flame.

Serve the recipe with steamed rice or roti.
