Mushroom biryani, a low fat recipe with delicious taste. Mushrooms are considered as favorite dish for both vegetarian and non-vegetarians.Mushroom biryani is a popular recipe and easy to prepare. Simply it is a spicy dish loved to eat by everyone.
Ingredients:
- Basmati rice- 11/2 cup
- Cloves-4
- Cinnamon( medium size)- 2
- Green chillies-2-cut into long halves
- Onion slices- 1/2 cup
- Cardamom- 2
- Ginger and garlic paste- 2 spoons
- Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves- 1/2 cup
- Chilli powder- 1/2 spoon
- Coriander powder- 1 spoon
- Biryani masala- 1 spoon
- Lemon juice- 2 spoons
- Curd- 2 spoons
- Ghee- 1/2 cup
- Tomato slices- 1/2 cup
Preparation:
Step 1:Wash basmathi rice and soak them in water for 15-20min, sieve the water and keep rice aside.
Step 2:Clean button mushrooms and cut into big pieces.
Step 3:Heat ghee in a pan, add rice to it and saute it for 2min and keep aside.
Step 4: Heat 4 spoons of oil in a vessel, add cinnamon, cloves and cardamom saute it well.
Step 5: Add onions, fry them till they turn into brown colour.
Step 6: Add green chillies, ginger and garlic paste saute it well for 2min.
Step 7: Add tomatoes, chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, biryani masala and curd.
Step 8: Mix it well and cook for 2min a low flame.
Step 9: Add mushroom pieces, coriander leaves and mint leaves, fried rice. mix them well after 5min add fried rice and stir it well.
Step 10:Sprinkle lemon juice and place a lid.
Step 11: Cook it for 15-20min at low flame.
Step 12: Check and off the flame after the rice is boiled.
Serve it in a bowl and enjoy the taste of recipe!!
