How to cook beetroot and carrot chops

Beetroot and carrot chops is a crispy snack item served hot with tomato sauce. The recipe is very delicious made with root vegetables that contains vitamins, proteins etc. It is very simple to make this recipe. Let us see the procedure of making the crispy item.

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot- medium- 2
  • Carrot – medium- grated- 1
  • Besan flour-1 cup
  • Chopped coriander-1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry
  • Red chilli powder- 1 spoon
  • Lemon juice- 2 spoons

Procedure:

Step 1:Peel skin of beetroot, boil them and grate finely.

Step 2:Add grated carrot, grated beetroot, lemon juice, chopped coriander, besan flour. Mix them well without any lumps.

Step 3: Divide flour mixture into equal portions by applying oil to your hand.

Step 4:Heat oil at low flame, drop the chops and fry them till it turns into brown color.

Step 5:Serve the snack item with tomato sauce.
