Apricot almond slices are made with dry nuts. Selection of dry fruits and seeds make the recipe more tasty. It is a low fat recipe with low GI sugar. - Low fat sugar- 3/4 cup
- Rolled oats- 2 cups
- Pumpkin seeds- 2 spoons
- Sesame seeds- 2 spoons
- Sunflower seeds- 2 spoons
- Golden syrup-2 spoons
- Grated coconut- 1/2cup
- Slivered almonds- 1/4 cup
- Dried apricots- 1/2 cup
Step1: Place baking paper on cake tin and preheat it for 180 degrees.
Step 2: Heat golden syrup, low GI sugar and butter on a saucepan.
Step 3: Heat till it starts bubbling and sugar dissolved.
Step 4: Add dry ingredients and mix it well.
Step 5: Bake the whole mixture for 20-30min until it turns into golden brown colour.
Step 6: Keep the whole mixture aside and allow it to cool.
Step 7: Cut them into slices and serve to eat.
